So, surgery went off well. I came home and rested for a bit. And then to avoid getting depressed and stuff I headed off to Missouri Rep. I found myself unable to sit through the whole show and so I left. Stopped by Michaels house and left him a note that I was out and about and feeling fine. Headed to Priscillas to get a yule gift and was a bit intimidated by the four women my mothers age giggling and acting like twelve year olds in addition to the Christmas music playing... From there I went and grabbed a bite of dinner with my mom. And from there I headed to [livejournal.com profile] duane_kc's house to cheer him up... Not sure I did, but at least we got to chat. I drug myself home when I found that I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Crashed almost immediately upon getting home and woke up at four in the morning all sweaty and sticky... It took me a while to realize that I was running a really high fever, but once I did I crawled into the cool shower and cooled myself off. From there I went downstairs and began watching the LOTR weekend Starz is doing. Finally fell asleep around 7am. I'm sure some of you are wondering why I chose downstairs instead of my bed... Much cooler downstairs than up... So, I'm just now getting up and feeling a wee bit better, but thinking I should avoid ritual today despite how much I want to go, as it is a holiday. However, I'm not sure if I'm running a fever due to infection or just doing too much after surgery. So, I'll take it easy today in hopes of making it through the week. Those that are going to ritual, have fun for me. :-)

I'm feeling better. Fever is down. I laid around in the morning, but got productive this afternoon. So, all and all I feel as though I have accomplished much: lights and ornaments went on the tree, holiday baking is complete, and I rested enough to make my body feel better. Still a little bummed about missing ritual today though. I also tried to put air in my bike tires... Back tire is full and doing good. However, the front tire does not seem to be filling up. So, I'm not sure if there is a problem or if it's just soo flat that my little hand held pump isn't gonna do it. So, tomorrow night I will take it to the gas station and try the electronic air pump. *crossing fingers that it works* Finding my receipt to return the bike might be hard to do. Not only that, I put quite a bit of myself into putting the thing together... So, yeah. Life is looking up. I might actually have things ready before Christmas...
