A big thank you to those who helped me move. I am in my new apartment. Have not had a chance to really unpack much, but the important task at hand is complete.

Double thank yous to those who went out of their way and helped drive the truck, brought breakfast, came sick, made my computer desk really sturdy, hooked up my electronics, had random and spare things that assisted with the move. [livejournal.com profile] duane_kc I believe you are the only one who got away without a hug so I owe you one...

Okay, so my new apartment is starting to seem a bit more real since I'm now actually in it. I am very happy and satisfied with my decision. So, far so good, keeping fingers crossed, 'cause currently it looks like I may be there more than a year. Yep, I said it, however, it's not official yet and I don't feel like talking about it yet...

On another note, [livejournal.com profile] mistresangelfur mentioned that my old shower was like taking a shower in a hotel- little water pressure and low placement of the shower head. I must admit I gave her a questioning look and shrugged it off, because I didn't get it. I mean, I know I'm not tall by any means, so I've never noticed that shower heads are lower in hotels, 'cause they're all tall for me. However, in my new apartment I now understand her comment. The shower head is soo tall I can barely reach it (curious how that will work out with Kip). And the water pressure is so hard it hurts. Totally different, however, I got used to it. So, now I even like my new shower. :-) (I said ramblings right? ;-) )
