Post Chicago Update

So, since Chicago I have mostly been focused on getting things here in KC together. I got a spider bite from hell the last night I was in Chicago and have mostly recovered from that. I currently have a sinus infection though and am needing to get my faire stuff together as I work this weekend.

Katrina

I have soo many thoughts and issues on this, however, the majority have been said. I know I wasn't alone in my tears on this issue. And I admit it got to the point that I couldn't watch for a while... Now, after seeing New Orleans as the water is slowly being removed I can't help but feel some what disappointed that I never went down there pre-hurricane Katrina. It was something I always wanted to do and planned on doing some day. Had the ability to stay with a friend down there for two years and just never got around to it. *sigh* "If I could turn back time"

Grumble Grumble

Trying to get my faire shit together... Have everything but one skirt. It'd be okay if I had extra skirts like I do bodices and chemises, but alas I do not... Did I by chance loan it to anyone who reads this journal??? Ack! Saturday morning will be here way too soon for me to crank out a new skirt. And it was the one I liked! Damnit! Fuck, fuck, shit, shit... :::: That didn't help. I just wish my brain wasn't clouded with mucus and that my chest and sinuses didn't hurt like a bitch and that something, something this week would go my fucking way! ARGH!
