It's been a rough week
Jan. 4th, 2006 11:29 pmWorking tons and having to put up with a lot of shit at work. Today started off with my usual shit load of calls, half shitty and half normal... And then I went to go to lunch and as I got up to head off one of my co-workers ever so nicely told our receptionist to send one of my debtors back to talk to me. Argh. Half hour later I got to go to lunch... Urgh.
Since lunch was cut in half and late and my co-worker was an inconsiderate bitch along with the shitty debtors mixed in... I found myself in a pretty foul mood post lunch... And then one of my client's called. In the midst of our conversations she slips and says "the woman on the phone with him (one of my debtors) seemed to have her brain together. Not that I am racist, but she seemed white..." I paused and thought, wow, she must not have met me before and I wonder if this is really how people talk when they are speaking to non-minorities... But then I realized she had met me... So, what the fuck?!?!? What kind of a fucking comment is that? I mean, I know what she meant... Well, at least in my head I would have used the word educated versus white... Argh! So, since she is our client, I could not say a word, but ooohhh how I had to bite my teeth. BITCH!
Things seem to be calming down and it's nice that I will get off at 5pm tomorrow and not have any obligations. That means I can do laundry, clean, and do personal things! Yay! Fingers crossed that tomorrow goes as planned and people chill the fuck out.
