Yeah, yeah, more blabbing on apartment searching. So, while I have yet to find an apartment that jumps out at me. I have kept a few clean and relatively reasonably priced apartments on the list; Spring Hill, Waterford Place, and Casa de Fuentes. Kip is really hooked on Homestead and so I have held onto their information, but am not really keen on them... I'm stressing out about setting up my appointments for Saturday. I didn't do as much looking this week as I had hoped for and I really want to be done looking this weekend. So, I'm stressing because I feel like whatever apartment I leave out may be "the one."

And I just got a wild hair when I stumbled upon some houses in KCK that are three bedrooms and renting for $734. I'm tempted to investigate, but at the same time I'm just not sure about KCK... I mean, it's a good part of KCK, but there is the commute. Not only that higher renters insurance. Higher utilities. So, would it really be cheaper?

*sigh* So, much to take into consideration...

I don't find the commute a problem. We can generally get to Gaia in about 20 minutes or so. Then again, I grew up in Houston, so what do I know. :-)

Your talking to the girl who currently drives ten minutes to work, either job. Five minutes if that to Gaia. And about fifteen minutes every where else...

I feel that from KCK you can't get anywhere easily (surface street wise). To head to OP, Westport, etc you have to jump on the highway...

we pay 800 for a 3 bdrm house on the missouri side too. most rental houses don't require renter's insurance which is a plus. utilities aren't too bad either. of course you could always rent a house and get housemates.
