Things Could Be Better

chainwomanI still have no internet at home. The cable guy replaced my modem and is telling me that my computer was fried by lightening and my ethernet (sp?) card is not working. I admit I don't know much about computers and it is possible there was some type of surge that I am aware of, but I really do have a hard time believing that anything is wrong with my ethernet card as the computer says it's fine and the light is flashing... Only problem being that it will not change the ip address. Argh. Duane can't make it over 'til Thursday so the gods only know when I will have internet at home again. Bleh.
Not only that, but it appears that Serenity is only playing in Lawrence or at the Ameristar. :-( I don't get off work until 7pm so I can either do the 9:45pm in Lawrence or the 10:15pm at the Ameristar. Either location are a long ass drive and I have to work faire in the morning. Meh. So, I guess those that are interested in going let me know which location and I will go with the majority vote.
