Wiccans against Witches and Ghosts?

There is a Wiccan at my mom's work who is stirring up all kinds of trouble because she has told everybody that witch and ghost decorations are offensive... *scratches head* Am I not getting something here??? If you ask me Halloween is the best time to go shopping for kewl cauldrons, witches, ghosts, et. al. I don't think all witches are offensive and I'm certainly not about to jump down somebody's throat for putting up a green warty witch... So, I don't get it. Anybody? Anybody?

Yeah, I haven't heard it much, but it tended to come from the more uptight and mega-feminist types... *shrug* To each their own, I guess.
